When we see the Olsens dressing a little quirky on the streets or at a red carpet event, it’s really not a surprise. These pint-sized twins have very unconventional fashion tastes (most of the time), and they could care less about what people think.

So, when we spotted Ashley Olsen at the 2013 Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic wearing a red kaftan two sizes too big for her, it wasn’t a big deal anymore. But we still have to talk about this, ladies.

Ashley Olsen styled her oversized, vintage-style gold-embroidered red kaftan with items from The Row and Hermes shoes.

She has an obsession with vintage pieces and oversized everything. The vintage kaftan clearly illustrates that. And it’s quite a work of art; it has super soft fabric and beautiful embroidery.

The only thing wrong with this outfit is its length. The kaftan is too oversized for the tiny Olsen and drowns her. If she had tailored it to be shorter, it would have looked so much better on her. Adding a belt and some heels could have enhanced the overall look.
