We got ourselves one huge orange crush – the fashion world called it, Tokyo Fashion Week answered. Japanese brand A Degree Fahrenheit took the trend prediction that orange will be the new black for spring/summer 2014 to soaring heights. Head designer Yu Amatsu did not disappoint as the fashion label debuted their creations on the runway one by one, all of them possessing their wonderful trademark craftsmanship, and, shockingly, almost all of them in a monotone orange hue.

Yu Amatsu’s genius patternmaking skills stood out even more with his monotone creations, also showcasing his talent at fabric manipulation. The collection featured mostly dresses of beautiful draping and panel work. While we’re still easing well into the fall/winter mode, it wouldn’t hurt to look ahead for the orange trend early on.
